The credo of our helping service

Apostle John defines our task like this: „Dear children, let us not love with words or speech but with actions and in truth. This is how we know that we belong to the truth...” (1John 3:18-19a)

We regard it as our aim and our task to acquire the love of Christ and to practise it together with all of its manifestations. If through this we can make the lives of people in our direct and wider environment better and more beautiful, we can say: it was worth it!

Our Helping Service was created to fulfil this noble task. We would like to use our divine abilities, our knowledge, our strength, and not the least our love to care and to help those fellow men of ours, who are partly able or not able at all to take care of themselves.

The aim of our Helping Service supported by the HPC Gipsy Ministry is: according to the mission from our Lord – service to the people in need, based on Christian principles and seeking harmony with regarding laws and regulations.

What does home assistance mean?

By organizing the home assistance basic service we provide help according to the individual needs of the socially needy people at their own home and environment, helping to sustain their conduct of life, to solve their problems caused by their state of health, by mental disease or by any other cause. Our home assistance caretakers provide help in taking care for our customers' physical, mental and social needs:

• at their own homes,
• according to their age, situation and health,
• using, maintaining and strengthening their existing abilities.

Within the realms of home assistance our workers will do the following:

• they build up and maintain helping connection with our customers;
• they provide basic nursery care according to the orders of the doctor;
• they help to maintain personal and environmental hygiene;
• they help in housekeeping;
• they help our customers to keep in touch with their neighbours;
• they help in preventing the development of the potential danger and in averting dangerous situations;
• they help our customers to access other necessary social care;
• in case of need they help our customers to move into an old people's home.

How can you apply for home assistance?

If you would like to apply for our services, one of our workers will meet you at your home in an agreed appointment and she/he will inform you about the details of application. She/he will help you to get and fill in the application documents.

Our home assistance caretakers cooperate with institutions providing basic and special medical and social services.
